A very special Solo exposition!

Discover 60 new works from French Master painter Henri Landier, inspired by his love for the famous carnaval of Maastricht. Enjoy a route of Henri Landier which will take you across Maastricht and Zuid Limburg to 6 special locations.

The Grand opening will take place on the 21th of February in the Kruisheren hotel/Kroon gallery in Maastricht, where the collection will be opened officially by the Prince of the Carnaval himself. All works shall remain on display untill the 22th of March, entrance to all locations is free.

Ontdek 60 nieuwe werken van Meester schilder Henri Landier, gemaakt vanuit zijn liefde voor het Maastrichtse Carnaval. Verspreid over 6 bijzondere locaties in Maastricht en omstreken.

De Vernissage op 21 februari, in het Kruisheren hotel/de Kroon Gallery is openbaar en de expositie zal officieel worden geopend door Maastrichts Prins Carnaval. Alle werken en de route zullen te zien zijn tot de 22e maart. Toegang tot alle locaties is gratis.

Le vernissage aura lieu le 21 février à l’hôtel Kruisheren avec une inauguration officielle par le Prince du Carnaval de Maastricht.
Toutes les œuvres se trouvent à Kroon Gallery autour du premier étage et seront affichées jusqu’au 22 Mars. L’accès est gratuit.

La Route

Henri Landier, né à Paris en 1935.

Ses thèmes très divers: la nuit, les ports, les villes, les paysages, les portraits, le théâtre…

lui sont inspirés par la fascination du flux du temps et le processus irréversible de la vie.

Dans les peintures du Labyrinthe ou des Danseurs de Buto, il représente le chaos, tandis que simultanément il reconstruit les falaises de Crozon, les ruelles de Prague, et les rios de Venise dans un déséquilibre harmonieux.

Plus de 100 expositions lui ont été consacrées, en France,  en Europe, aux Etats-Unis et au Japon. Depuis 1975, il expose en permanence à l’Atelier d’Art Lepic à Paris.

Henri paints very diverse themes: the night, the ports, the cities, the landscapes, the portraits, the theater…
they are inspired by the fascination of the flow of time and the irreversible process of life.

In the paintings of the Labyrinth or the Dancers of Buto, he represents chaos, while simultaneously he reconstructs the cliffs of Crozon, the alleys of Prague, and the rios of Venice in a harmonious imbalance.

More than 100 exhibitions have been dedicated to him, in France, in Europe, in the United States and in Japan. Since 1975, he has exhibited permanently at the Atelier d’Art Lepic in Paris.

Henri maakt al ruim een halve eeuw schilderijen met zeer diverse thema’s; Portretten, steden, landschappen, het theater… Ze zijn allen bezield door de fascinatie rond de loop van het leven en de onomkeerbare processen van de tijd.

In zijn schilderijen van het Labyrint, of de danser van Buto, beschrijft hij chaos ,maar tegelijkertijd maakte hij de kliffen van Crozon, the steegjes van Praag en de Rio’s van Venetië. In zijn unieke stijl brengt hij all deze thema’s op wonderlijke wijze met elkaar in balans.

Meer dan 100 shows werden aan hem opgedragen, in Frankrijk, in Europa, de VS en Japan. Sinds 1975 worden zijn werken permanent ten toon gesteld in het Atelier D’art Lepic in Parijs.
