Florian Rooz was born at a very young age and immediately began converting people to his philosophy of life — first using only body language. With sweeping gestures and wide-eyed conviction, he taught others to dream big, scream big, and reach for the impossible.
Soon he developed a language composed of hand signals and primitive sounds, which eventually evolved into Dutch, and then into English — allowing everyone on the planet to finally speak to one another.
He dreamed often of music. From the depths of imagination, strange and beautiful instruments emerged — some so resonant they rippled backwards through time and now appear in ancient history. Florian, feeling responsible, spent years teaching people how to play them until music became a stable global element.
But he found many still didn’t know how to learn. So he wrote a book called How to Learn Anything Three Times Faster and traveled the world sharing the skill of learning itself. Once he was satisfied that the world was learning steadily — rockets began landing, cars started driving themselves, and scientific miracles bloomed like wildflowers.
With the world almost running on its own, Florian turned to art and philosophy — dreaming of answering the deepest questions ever asked. He began bending ideas like Time and Consciousness into sculptural forms of pure understanding, and crafting tools for the eye of the mind to see what could never be seen before.
His quest is simple:
To bring the Earth and the stars a little closer together.
DREAMY, DIFFERENT, INTERESTING, BEAUTIFUL, TANTALIZING, NAUGHTY, SAXY OR SIMPLY… A HORN TO LOVE!
One of a kind, Kroon Gallery is proud to be involved with this artisan craftsman instruments from Amsterdam as a unique and exclusive feature in our gallery.
When you love something, you just know it. Balls to bones! And if Florian understands one thing, it’s that every saxophone player loves his/her instrument. A saxophone is not just some “thing” it’s a partner, a companion, an extension of yourself that can be as dear to you as an arm or a leg.
This is the core idea of his design philosophy and it’s reflected in every facet of the Blue Rose saxophone. What makes a saxophone your dream instrument? Too often it’s suggested that ,the most expensive saxophone, is the best. We defy this idea.
A horn to love needs: a price to love, a sound to invoke the soul of your hero’s, a feel akin to Marilyn Monroe’s hips, Looks to kill, and a depth of culture that connects you to the history of all art and music.
A Horn to love is not just an instrument, It’s a piece of art that is meant to become part of your life. Inspiring you to play songs from your balcony in the morning sunlight, to sing in the rain and to give the soundtrack of your life a powerful voice that portrays all that you are.
